Short Circuit Models

These short circuit models represent the ‘As-Built’ system. Primary uses include protective relaying coordination, protection scheme analysis, and relay settings reviews. WECC annually collects these models from the Planning Coordinators in the Western Interconnection

The Short Circuit Modeling Work Group (SCMWG) is working on a Short Circuit User Preparation Resource.

NOTE: To access the Short Circuit Model team site, you must:

• Be an account holder,
• Have signed a WECC Confidentiality Agreement,
• Be given access, and
