Registration and Certification

WECC Registration identifies and registers bulk power system users, owners, and operators responsible for meeting the requirements of mandatory NERC Reliability Standards. With authority delegated by NERC, WECC certifies and registers organizations that operate, or seek to operate, as Reliability Coordinators (RCs), Balancing Authorities (BAs), and Transmission Operators (TOPs) within the Western Interconnection.
