Organization Certification

Under authority delegated by NERC, WECC certifies and registers organizations that serve or intend to serve as Reliability Coordinators (RCs), Balancing Authorities (BAs), and Transmission Operators (TOPs) within the Western Interconnection. WECC ensures these organizations are fully equipped to perform these critical functions by thoroughly analyzing their procedures, processes, tools, training, and personnel.
