Technical Session

In the early afternoon of November 13, 2025, a scheduled outage of a 500 KV line caused a system disturbance that lead to cascading outages in the northeast area of the Western Interconnection. This technical session will include an overview of the event and a discussion of findings and recommendations resulting from the event and subsequent restoration efforts.
