​WECC-0155: PRC-006-WECC-CRT-4, Underfrequency Load Shedding

This project will complete a five-year review of the WECC Criterion. The review is required per the WECC Reliability Standards Development Procedures (Procedures). No specific issues are identified. Upon completing the review, the assigned drafting team is authorized to recommend “No Change.”
The stated Purpose of the WECC Criterion is to “document the WECC Off-Nominal Frequency Load Shedding Plan (Coordinated Plan), or its successor, and to assure consistent and coordinated requirements for the Coordinated Plan among all WECC applicable entities.”
The Criterion requires applicable entities to: 1) annually allocate Peak Demand, 2) compile, report, communicate, and coordinate aspects of its sub-area and Coordinated Plans, as designated, and 3) implement the associated plans.
