Winter Weather Readiness

Join us for a two-hour session to explore the effects of winter weather and the strategies implemented to ensure reliability in Alberta during January 2024. The workshop will cover topics such as the reliability risks posed by extreme natural events, as well as winterization techniques for generation to mitigate the impacts of cold weather. Additionally, we will delve into the upcoming NERC standards changes and into WECC's plans for generator assurance visits and outreach.
