This 2 1/2-day workshop provides a holistic overview of the electric grid. The class starts with basics of electricity and progresses through transmission lines, generation equipment, system configuration, grid operations, and power distribution. The class also reviews regulations for reliability, and touches on issues that affect environment, and current events. In this workshop, you will experience lecture, hands-on activities and group discussions.
