WECC expects registered entities to perform periodic maturity assessments as part of a program of continuous improvement. This self-assessment is a resource for evaluating strengths and weaknesses in your system of internal control. It builds on industry-standard guidance with ERO Enterprise-developed examples in the electric reliability context.

The five integrated components of internal control are divided into 17 principles. Successful application of these principles can result in an effective system of internal control. Evaluate your performance in applying each principle and select the corresponding maturity level.
