Road Map

These charts show the same hours as the charts for LOLH, but instead of the count of hours with potential risk, the charts show how much demand is at risk over those same hours or expected unserved energy (EUE). This is a magnitude calculation, rather than the LOLH's frequency calculation.

Observation

Expected unserved energy follows the same pattern as LOLH, but shows the size of the risk when each of the subregions is examined.

Page Tip

Clicking a region on the map will change the charts to show that area's information. Clicking the same area again will switch the charts back to the overall Western Interconnection results.
