Entity Registration
In following the provisions of the Federal Power Act, the applicable FERC Orders, and the NERC Rules of Procedure, WECC Registration identifies and registers bulk power system users, owners, and operators who are responsible for performing reliability functions to which requirements of mandatory NERC Reliability Standards are applicable. Requirements and activities for the Organization Registration and Certification Program can be found in the
NERC Rules of Procedure (RoP), Section 500 (Organization Registration and Certification) and
Appendix 5A and
Appendix 5B of the FERC-approved NERC Rules of Procedure.
The “United States Registration Request (CORES)” button below connects to a sign-in/register page where entities can sign into the NERC ERO Portal or request an account,
which is required. Once signed in, new entities select “Entity Registration Requests” to access the Centralized Organization Registration ERO System (CORES) to submit a registration request. Existing entities select “My Entity” and then “CORES” to request changes to a current registration. See the
NERC CORES Video Library for more information.
The “International Registration Request” button below connects to the online WECC Registration Request Form.
